Counts the number of field types in the solution. Field types impact the farm because they are visible in the whole farm in all site collections. It is not possible to hide field types from specific site collections.

The metric searches for templates files in folder 'xml' which start with 'fldtypes_'. Within these files the metric searches for appearances of xml nodes <FieldTypes><FieldType>.
